NEWSLETTER 16.1.2026 Green 1 In Green 1 this week we have taste tested different fruits, such as pineapple and mango! We are learning to express our likes and dislikes when trying new foods. Absence Policy Just a polite reminder that if your child is absent from school you must call the school office on 01388 459721 to let us know the reason for this– be it illness, medical appointment or a bad night sleep! Aqua Splash festival This week some pupils had the opportunity to take part in an ‘Aqua Splash Festival’ at Spennymoor Leisure Centre. They enjoyed relay races with pool noodles, cones, and foot- balls as well as diving underwater for toys and collecng fish in nets. They also enjoyed me on the slides and in the waves. This is a fantasc opportunity for pupils to learn water confidence and water safety. It also improves their physical fitness and mental health and wellbeing. Dates for your Diary 2026.
